Memorial Gestures is a yearly residency programme which supports creative practitioners including artists, writers & translators.
Over the course of 8 months researchers are invited to explore the Holocaust Centre North Archive collection and respond to materials and themes they feel have contemporary relevance.

We are currently in our 4th instalment of Memorial Gestures with residencies running between May 2025 – February 2027.
Our MG4 residents are Joanne Clement, Martyna Puciato, Dayanny So, Delilah Sykes & Sally Wetherall.

An exhibition of artworks and research will be hosted in 2027.
